About Our Games
MURDER ON THE MENU GAMES was established in 2024 with a mission to create funny, irreverent, and exciting mysteries for aspiring sleuths of all skill levels! And when we realized most murder mystery games were released prior to 2010, we decided to get extra creative and bring NEW titles with truly original mysteries that take place in the present day! The characters are outrageously hilarious, and your guests can put together a costume from their closet, assume their identity, and mingle amongst the other “suspects.” Together, put your detective hats on and enjoy food, fun, mystery, and an evening of MURDER ON THE MENU!
Holly Heffelfinger is the author of Murder in Charleston. She is also the author of three successful mystery dinner party games: Til Death Do Us Part, Honky Tonk Homicide, and Murder at Mardi Gras.Our games are proudly manufactured in the USA.

FAQ'S
A murder mystery party game is an event where the host invites the guests to attend dressed in costume and assume a character assigned in advance via invitation. Invitations include character background information and costume suggestions. All of our mysteries take place in the present day, so costumes are easy to put together!
Player booklets are available for each guest guiding them throughout the game. They are instructed to read their character background information and remain in character throughout the evening. After a murder is revealed, you must all work together to solve the mystery and name the killer.
Player’s Booklets do not contain “scripted dialogue.” However, they do include detailed information with suggested questions and comments that direct players to improvise dialogue.
No, the host doesn’t know who the killer is.
The other suspects don’t know if he/she is the murderer, so everyone gets to solve the mystery!
Our games average about two and a half hours to play. There are several opportunities between chapters for the group to take a break.
No! Some of our characters can be played by any gender.
We recommend ages 17 and older.
